The instruction booklet is so poorly produced that the instructions can’t be read without a lot of eye strain. Even with magnification they are barely intelligible. Maybe they ran out of ink when they were printed the booklet I received. This is the first thing a new customer needs to see and they can’t print a decent copy for us? Then the update software message notifies me that there is an update to the their studio but when I ask to download the updates it fails. Repeatedly. I’ve owned a Sansa before (stolen) and I wish I would have gone back to that brand. I had that up and running in minutes.

No matter what anyone says, the Pebble does NOT work with a Mac. Also, Samsung customer support was very unhelpful. Finally, per another review, the instruction book is indeed illegible.

I received my five Samsung MP3 players more quickly than promised, and they were a hit as Christmas stocking stuffers. This part of the order was excellent. Earlier, however, I was having trouble with the Amazon website, and trhe Amazon customer service people were not much help either. While the Samsung MP3 players (same model) came in several colors, only one was offered by Amazon. I inquired whether more colors would be coming into stock, and the customer service person said that she would check it out and notify me by email. The email never arrived. After two days, I tried again and was told that an email would be sent to me. Again, no email ever arrived. I then proceeded to purchase all five in the same color.

This MP3 player is terrific for a child. They can wear it around their neck and the earphones are attached. It is also fairly easy to operate, although the commands are written in the same color as the player which makes it hard to see, especially if you are trying to change songs or adjust the volume at night. I bought it for my son who is 9 years old and he loves it. he already has it almost filled up! He also loves the way the bottom part of the circle flashes colors to the beat of the music. His friend all think it is cool and now he is the “new cool kid for the week”!. Battery power is not great and I could have sworen you could charge it but no you cant. It really will not work in a speakers dock either. I got him a little $[...] speaker from Walgreens that is white and it just goes right into where the headphones attach and he can set it in his room and listen to it without putting it in his ears. These type of “Pearl” MP3 players I think are excellent for people who are exercising, jogging, running or just on the go a lot. No tangled wires and when you need to talk just pull out the earphones and the stay righ there since it is a lanyard style.
