This item did not work for my car (2007 new beetle), it sounds like echo, I have tried another brand and sounds the same, so it’s a problem with my car’s stereo aux port(factory), so I’m giving this one 3 stars ’cause it didn’t work for my car but it may work for others

Everyone is right when they tell you the sound quality is superb with this cable. The one thing that alot of reviewers are leaving out of the review is this:
If you plan on using the cable in the car you cannot have this cable plugged in the sametime as your car charger as the cables outer shell is too big to have them both plugged in. This is crucial as most cars cannot charge while the car is off so you are left without Ipod time if you only use it in the car.

I have the iphone 3GS and a Toyota Highlander. With the Griffin Noise Reducing audio cable, I can at last use my iphone in my auxillary jack and get clear sound. I’m able to work the volume through the car’s stereo. Unlike some adaptors, the volume doesn’t need to be up to max to enjoy your iphone music. I like having the remote control on my steering wheel. The downside is it gets in my way while turning and it’s a bit simplistic. But it works to pause/play, go to the next track and shuffle. This makes travel easier.

Yes, it makes the Car noise go away. The cable plug is so thick that the charger cable can’t be plugged.

Totally eliminated the static from my Droid and Ipod to the radio. Works great!
